I HAVE A PRESENT FOR YOU
The Last Little Blue Envelope, sequel to 13 Little Blue Envelopes, will be out on APRIL 26th . . . and I have things to tell you about it. Exciting things. Things I think you will like. And here is one of them . . .
SURPRISE!
Namely, for two weeks, you will be able to read 13 Little Blue Envelopes FOR FREE. FOR NOTHING. ZIPPO.
This is something I did with Suite Scarlett, and I went to HarperCollins and asked if I could do it again, and they said YES. So from April 12th until April 25th, you’ll be able to download a FREE ELECTRONIC COPY of 13 Little Blue Envelopes with a SNEAK PREVIEW of the sequel.
THERE IS NO CATCH. IT’S FREE.
I’ll be posting all the download information on April 12th, but you can pre-order the free copies at Amazon, and they will automatically download on the 12th. There will be MORE WAYS to get it on the 12th, but that one you can click on NOW. (Again, the book won’t appear until the 12th. But click!)
THERE IS NO CATCH. IT IS FREE.
Did I say that already? It’s free. If you want to read it, read it. To quote Animal House, “Don’t cost nothin.” So if you’ve been looking to try one of my books, WHY NOT TRY THIS ONE? It is, as I have mentioned, FREE.
THE LAST LITTLE BLUE ENVELOPE
But maybe you’ve read 13 Little Blue Envelopes already, and maybe you just want to get your hands on a copy of The Last Little Blue Envelope? Is this you I am describing? Well, why not just PRE-ORDER IT TODAY, so you can get your hands on the VERY FIRST COPIES? Why not indeed? Here are some review quotes about it. I don’t really like review quotes, but they are pretty good, and I need someone else to tell you about the book, so here you go . . .
“Readers who finished 13 Little Blue Envelopes and wondered what was in the thirteenth envelope finally have an answer—and it’s a good one. . . .The group’s dynamic is always authentic, usually funny, and occasionally heartrending; Johnson excels at conveying emotions through natural-sounding dialogue. New readers and old fans will find much to like, right down to the final life-altering kiss, in this celebration of growing up, moving on, and embracing (sometimes literally) the unexpected.” – Horn Book, starred review
“It builds beautifully from the resolution of the last book . . . . Johnson’s characters are just the right blend of quirky and likeable to hold teens’ interest; they feel remarkably real, yet their circumstances are extraordinary. This is one of the rare books that will delight both lovers of contemporary adventures and those who prefer realistic romances.” -VOYA, starred review
“Ginny’s narrative, told in an intelligent, third-person voice, establishes her firmly as a sympathetic, often hilarious everygirl, whose efforts to understand herself and who she’d like to be are fraught with moments both romantic and heartbreaking. Johnson’s skill in creating secondary characters that are unusual, realistically flawed and utterly believable is again on display here . . . . an appealingly smart and honest read that fans of the first will find deeply satisfying.” -Kirkus
That’s enough of that.
Do you need it? Do you? Well, you can pre-order . . .

I will also be TOURING with Sara Shepard and Sarah Mlynowski. I’ll have specifics SOON, though I do know the tour will be from June 6th until the 12th.*
So there you go! WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT?
* Sometimes people, very kindly, make requests for me to come places. I don’t actually put the tours together, and in this particular case, the stores are already set up. We’re just awaiting confirmation. So THANK YOU if you are going to request for me to come somewhere on this tour, but I can’t actually do anything about it. BUT MAYBE I AM ALREADY COMING THERE! Also, I’ll be touring again in the FALL, for The Name of the Star.
